  THIS WILL BE THE SITE FOR THE 2008 NATIONAL SHOW Shire halter classes will be held Thursday morning, October 2nd, starting at 8:00AM. Judge: Marian Young from Canada. Hitch class judge will be Joe Mulligan from New York Youth judge: Colby Orndorff (showmanship, hitch and riding). Adult riding classes will be judged by one of the hitch judges. New halter classes added this year: Best American Bred Registered Gelding Best Shire Stallion bred and owned by exhibitor Best Shire Mare bred and owned by exhibitor New hitch class added: Jr. Cart class - 2 and 3 year old registered mares, stallions or geldings. Ribbons and premiums through 6th place. Class is tentatively scheduled for Saturday morning, October 4th.

  This is a 3-day draft horse halter, hitch, riding show that will host some "Shire-only" halter (tentatively on Friday afternoon) and hitch classes. This is an awesome facility and an up-and-coming show!! It is held in conjunction with the a Mule show, Gypsy horse show & sheepdog trials. Stalls are 12x12 metal. Turn out pens are available for an added charge. Details about costs will be available closer to the show.
